Just three days after stating that vaccines work, “pure and simple,” the president thought it’d be a good idea to promote an anti-vaccine video. At face value, Trump apparently wanted to have it both ways: He seemed eager to signal to the public that he supports safe, effective and popular lifesaving vaccines, while at the same time, the president lent his support to Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a notorious anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist who is helping put new hurdles between Americans and vaccinations. It was against this backdrop that Trump made matters just a bit worse, three days stating that vaccines work, “pure and simple.” NBC News reported: Trump posted an undated video clip on Truth Social of anti-vaccine activists Mark and David Geier discussing thimerosal in vaccines with the text on the clipped video reading: ‘They’re ALL poison. Why would the president amplify an anti-vaccine video just days after offering public support for vaccines?

The "glitter" in the Anti Hero video...70 votes, 11 comments. I think the purple glitter blood/vomit from the Anti-hero MV has been discussed here before in thorough detail, but I've never…I think there's a possible connection where in The Man, Taylor imagines a reality where if she was a man, her career/personality/brand is more palatable to the general public, and in Anti-Hero she is acknowledging and lamenting that her career/personality/brand is the problem to the general public (i.e., isn't palatable).Honestly, a part of me has been thinking of her music post-Lover through the lens of deconstructing something similar to toxic masculinity and embracing the power of femininity… But that’s a whole other essay of a post to write, lol 😅. I’m still figuring out how to fully articulate those thoughts, but the parallel you’ve drawn to Anti-Hero brings that much more clarity to the whole idea of it :)!
With children back in school across the region, students in New York’s North Country produced a video to remind their peers about the dangers of bullying
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) - With children back in school across the region, students in New York’s North Country produced a video to remind their peers about the dangers of bullying and steps to take to help someone who’s struggling. “I think it is going to send a good message out for the beginning of the school year, that if you see something like that happening, you need to tell somebody or stand up for that person,” said Amelia Blatchley, a Plattsburgh High School sophomore in the group Encore Acappella, which released an anti-bullying video this week. The video tells the story of a student who feels lost and alone, only to find themselves being uplifted by a popular classmate, eventually helping them find purpose.Cody Hampton, the school’s music teacher, says the video is about helping others if they’re struggling. “It’s easy to watch it happen and say nothing.

I’m wondering if her plot lines and mini skits make some people like watching her music videos less. Because, no matter how much they like the funeral scene in Anti-Hero or the Bejeweled storyline, they would also like to hear the song continuously rather than it being interrupted by the scenes.I wonder if it‘s because of the spoken parts. I „watched“ the flowers mv multiple times just because i was listening to the song via youtube. And therefore not actually watching the video. With Anti-Hero that doesn‘t work just because of the funeral scene and the talkingIf anti hero was released three months before the album release and didn't have any spoken part in the middle, it would have reached 100 million views faster. But the last time Taylor did a proper single was for Lover. All her albums that were released later had the lead single and its music video released the same day as the album comes out.Eventually, people watch the music video once or twice and then go back to streaming the full album. ... YES, you're right!!! This is the best and most reasonable explanation I got so far in this comment section. Antihero MV would've attracted way more attention had there not been 19 other songs detracting the fans and public away from it.

To celebrate the release of her highly anticipated 10th studio album Midnights, Taylor Swift dropped her first music video of the album era on Friday (Oct. 21).“I struggle a lot with the idea that my life has become unmanageably sized,” Swift continued in the video previewing the visual, aptly posted at midnight. “Not to sound too dark, but I just struggle with the idea of not feeling like a person — don’t feel bad for me, you don’t need to. But this song really is a real guided tour through all the things I tend to hate about myself; we all hate things about ourselves.” · Watch the “Anti-Hero” music video below.“Track three, ‘Anti-Hero,’ is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” Swift previously said of the song. The reading of the will dramedy that unfolds amid the song/video that takes on insecurity and self-consciousness is heightened with cameos from comedians Mike Birbiglia (Don’t Think Twice) and John Early (Search Party), who battle over not-dead Taylor’s earthly possession with entitled daughter-in-law Mary Elizabeth Ellis (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia).

John Bruce Thompson (born July 25, 1951) is an American activist and disbarred attorney. As an attorney, Thompson focused his legal efforts against what he perceives as obscenity in modern culture. Thompson gained recognition as an anti-video game activist, criticizing the content of video games and their alleged effects on children.Thompson's push to label various musical performances obscene was not entirely limited to rap. In addition to taking on 2 Live Crew, Thompson campaigned against sales of the racy music video for Madonna's "Justify My Love". Then in 1996, he took on MTV broadcasts for "objectification of women" by writing to the station's corporate parent, Viacom, demanding a stop to what he called "corporate pollution".Thompson has heavily criticized a number of video games and campaigned against their producers and distributors. His basic argument is that violent video games have repeatedly been used by teenagers as "murder simulators" to rehearse violent plans. He has pointed to alleged connections between such games and a number of school massacres.According to Thompson, "In every school shooting, we find that kids who pull the trigger are video gamers." Also, he claims that scientific studies show teenagers process the game environment differently from adults, leading to increased violence and copycat behavior.Thompson has rejected arguments that such video games are protected by freedom of expression, saying, "Murder simulators are not constitutionally protected speech. They're not even speech. They're dangerous physical appliances that teach a kid how to kill efficiently and to love it," as well as simply calling video games "mental masturbation".

I haven’t seen much conversation about this, but the Anti-Hero music video, for me, is leaps and bounds above ATW in terms of creativity. I feel like with ATW she felt like she had to just faithfully adapt the lyrics, but I love the playfulness, design, and direction in Anti-Hero.But in the Anti-Hero mv she works a lot with abstract creativity and I'm low-key optimistic the upcoming music videos will hold onto the level since it looks like the music videos are directly connected to each other with reoccurring sceneries.I agree! It's definitely my favorite video she's directed so far. I'm excited to see the other videos. ... Anti Hero is probably my favorite music video! But watching Anti-Hero mv got me REALLY excited for Mastermind (though I’m still not sure if she’s doing a mv for all the songs on the album). I feel like Mastermind is so cinematic and grand that I cry every time I hear it. It kinda reminds me of The Greatest Showman but I can’t explain why. ... I have no idea. That’s why I said I’m not sure if she’s doing mvs for all the songs 😅 ... I adore this video.
